From Guadalajara Mexico, the Valdivia family of ten children brings to you a dining experience that is rich in tradition, custom and culture.  

In 2006, the first Jalapeño’s restaurant opened in Nampa and brings traditional home-style Mexican dishes to Idaho.  “It took the work an entire family to get the restaurant going but it was our customers who really made us a success” according to Manager Irma Valdivia.  

“Our customers have been so wonderful and supportive of the Jalapeño’s brand there just wasn’t enough seating so in 2009 Jalapeño’s expand with a “Sister” location in Boise on Franklin Ave.” which is managed by Leticia Valdivia Mclaughlin.  

In 2019, the third Jalapeño’s restaurant opened on Broadway Ave. in Boise.  Managed by Mike Valdivia, this location is the largest of the three and is located just a few blocks from the Boise State University Campus.  

Besides the amazing food, what sets the Jalapeño’s brand apart from regular Mexican restaurants is the high level of customer service, attention to detail, and genuine appreciation of our customers.
